1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of www.vitalearthliving.com (the “Site”), operated by Vital Earth Living (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

2. Not medical advice

All content on this Site, including articles, quizzes, service descriptions, and downloadable material, is provided for educational and wellness purposes only. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it is not a substitute for care from a licensed healthcare provider.

Sara Taylor is not a licensed physician and is not licensed by the State of California as a healing arts practitioner. The specific services described on this Site are not licensed by the State of California. They are complementary or alternative to services provided by licensed healing arts professionals. Please read our Client Disclosure & Informed Consent in full before booking.

If you are experiencing a medical or mental health emergency, contact your healthcare provider or emergency services immediately. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you read here.

3. The nervous system quiz

The quiz offered on this Site is an educational self-reflection tool. It is not a diagnostic instrument, does not identify or assess any medical or psychological condition, and its results should not be relied upon as clinical information.

4. Eligibility

The Site is intended for people aged 18 and over. If you are under 18, please use the Site only with the involvement of a parent or guardian, and note that services are offered to minors only with documented guardian consent.

5. Booking, payment, and cancellation

• Prices listed on the Site are in US dollars and may change. The price confirmed at the time of booking is the price that applies.
• Monthly coaching may be cancelled at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Please give at least 24 hours’ notice to reschedule a session. Sessions missed without notice may be charged in full.
• Retreat deposits and cancellation terms are set out separately in the booking materials for each retreat.

6. Intellectual property

The Site and its contents (text, graphics, logos, illustrations, and the structure of the site itself) are owned by Vital Earth Living or its licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark law.

Rooted Resilience Method™ is a proprietary framework of Vital Earth Living. NEST (Neuro-Emotional Somatic Trust) is a modality Sara Taylor was trained in; Vital Earth Living claims no ownership of it. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content, or teach the Rooted Resilience Method™, without prior written permission. You may share links freely and quote short excerpts with attribution.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its servers, or related systems
• Introduce malware, or scrape or harvest data by automated means
• Submit false information or impersonate another person through our forms
• Interfere with the Site’s normal operation or another person’s use of it

8. Third-party links and services

The Site may link to third-party websites and embed third-party services such as maps or scheduling tools. We do not control these and are not responsible for their content, availability, or privacy practices. Their terms and policies apply when you use them.

9. User submissions

When you send a message, submit a form, or complete the quiz, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you have the right to share it. Please do not send sensitive health information through the Site’s forms; these are not HIPAA-secured channels. Sensitive details are better discussed in session.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, and we do not warrant any particular outcome from the services described.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vital Earth Living and Sara Taylor will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site or reliance on its content. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Vital Earth Living and Sara Taylor from any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Site or your breach of these Terms.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in California.
