Ready for a different kind of support
Tired of pushing through, thinking your way out of it, or simply waiting for things to feel easier? The body often carries more than we realize.
Stuck in survival mode
Feeling tense, wired, or exhausted even when nothing is obviously wrong? The stress never quite switches off, and your body seems to stay prepared for something to happen.
Rest does not feel restful
Slowing down sounds amazing, but when you do, your mind races, your body feels restless, or you find yourself reaching for something else to do. Old trauma can keep a body from trusting quiet.
Life split into before and after
You lost someone, or something in yourself, and the life you are living now feels unfamiliar. Your mind understands what happened. Your body is still living it.
The Rooted Resilience Method™: A body-based path back to steadiness
TEvery session follows the same rhythm: feel it, get curious, build capacity. So the next time overwhelm shows up, your body knows the way back.
What getting started looks like
Start with a conversation
We will talk about what has been bringing you here, what you have been experiencing, and what you would like support with. There is no pressure to commit to anything.
Understand your patterns
Together, we explore how stress shows up in your body, what tends to activate you, what helps you settle, and where you may be feeling stuck.
Choose the support that fits
Together, we choose your starting point. Most people begin with The Reading, two sessions where we map what your body is holding. From there, you can continue into The Rooting, a thirteen-week program, and graduates can keep going with The Tending.
Hi, I’m Sara
I believe your body deserves to be listened to, not fought against.
I’m Sara Taylor, a Nervous System Coach for Burnout and Overwhelm in Grover Beach and the creator of the Rooted Resilience Method™, giving your body a safe place to land through grief, loss, trauma, and life transitions. My path to this work has been shaped by both professional training and lived experience. I know what it can feel like to keep functioning while something inside you is asking for a different way forward.
I give people a way back to their own nervous system, so they can slow down, feel safe in their body, and find their way home to themselves.
This work is not about fixing you or rushing you toward an outcome. We start from wherever you actually are and build a relationship with yourself that feels more steady, compassionate, connected, and safe. What carried me through my own losses wasn’t pushing harder. It was slowing down enough to feel what I’d been outrunning, getting curious about what my body needed, and letting myself be held by people who knew how to hold me. That’s the rhythm I now share with every client: feel it, get curious, build capacity.
